Днём, мы с моей принимающей сестрой гуляли по Москве. Она мне показала её любимые места что она тоже думала было бы интересно для меня. Мне понравилась Музей Москва-Сити в небоскребе "Империя". Эта музей на 57ой этаже. Мы могли видеть большую часть города через окно, потому что был солнечный день. Она мне объяснила размещение Москва, и она мне показала в каких местах мы были. В этом зале также была телефоны которые играли различные записи граждан Москвы, объясняя, почему они любят свой город. Я прослушала каждую запись!
После этого, мы ходили в торговый центр, в магазин конфет и побывали в музее космонавтов. Я там увидела первую собаку кто ехала в космос! Мы потом ходили в Выставка достижений народного хозяйства—красивый парк. Моя русская сестра мне объяснила, что это парк был основан в советские времена, а фонтан в центре парка сзолотыми фигурками женщин представлял советское единство. Музыка играла через колонки--была отличается от того, что я когда-либо слышала. Когда я спросила мою русскую сестру какая эта музыка, она мне сказала что это была Советск ая музыка из 50-х или 60-х годов. Как интересно! Я много узнала о русской культуре и истории в этот день. Был грустный вечер когда я должна была попрощаться с моей принимающей семьей. Моя принимающая мама готовила моя любимая блюдо, очен вкусный суп пюре с грибной и картошкой. Потом, мы разговаривали--только по-русски--в течение нескольких часов. Мы говорили о России, о США, и о сходстве и различии в культуре. Моя русская сестра и мама—очень добрые люди. Я поддерживаю контакт с моей сестрой по электронной почте. Мне повезло, что я сделалa друзей на всю жизнь.
During the day, my host sister and I walked around Moscow. She showed me her favorite places that she also thought would be interesting to me. I really enjoyed visiting the Museum of Moscow City in the “Empire” Skyscraper. The museum was on the 57th floor. We could see most of the city through the window because it was a sunny day. My sister explained to me the layout of Moscow, and she showed me which places we had visited before. In the same room, there were telephones that played recordings made by Moscow citizens who explained why they loved their city. I listened to every single recording!
After that, we went to a mall, a candy store, and visited the Cosmonaut Museum. There, I saw the first dog to go to outer space! Afterwards, we walked around the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy, which is a beautiful park. My Russian sister explained to me that the park was founded during Soviet times, and the fountain in the center of the park, featuring golden figurines of women, was representative of Soviet unity. There was music playing from speakers that were unlike anything I had before heard. When I asked my host sister about it, she told me that it was classical music from the Soviet Union during the 50s and 60s. How interesting! I learned a lot about Russian culture and history that day.
It was a sad evening when I had to say goodbye to my host family. My host mother cooked my favorite dish—a soup made from pureed mushrooms and potatoes. After dinner, we had a conversation—completely in Russian—for several hours. We spoke about Russia and the U.S.A. and of their cultural similarities and differences. My host mother and host sister are very kind people. I am keeping in touch with my host sister via email. I am very lucky to have made lifelong friends.
